Hippocampus kelloggi
The seahorse whose name always makes me think of cereal! This horse is again from
the Red Sea, or the Indian Ocean. The only reason this horse isn't confused with
the histrix is that it is smooth skinned, so that it can be all confused with
the kuda complex. ( As in the other name that horses got called whether it had
anything to do with them or not!) This horse is long, and lean looking. They have
medium looking snouts, and their check spines usually lean backwards to the horses
necks...like they were pointing to their chests. Sometimes they have dots, small
white ones, but usually, they are just a pale or brown horse.
