Hippocampus mohnikei
This horse is from Southeast Asia. They are often called the Japanese seahorse.
They are dark, but can have mottling on them. They live in grass beds, like many
other seahorse species. Very little is know about them, but they have long LONG
tails. ( I do wonder why they didn't get called the long tailed seahorse!)
